This course is designed to expand the learner’s knowledge related to the concepts of health promotion and professionalism within the domain of the nurse. This course is also designed to expand the learner’s knowledge related to the concepts of health care quality, health care systems, and ethics within the domain of the health care environment. Threaded within this course are the themes of caring, nursing judgment, holism, health/wellness, and teaching/learning.
In the clinical component of this course the student will participate in a culminating capstone experience. Students will have the opportunity to integrate concepts and skills in the professional work environment, strengthening their sense of competence, and accountability and professional development.
Kaplan exams, quizzes, and resources have been added to NUR275 to give the learner practice for success on NCLEX test day and concludes with a Kaplan NCLEX review course designed for continued practice and student success.
